This enables us to provide complete data integrity, for instance if your server should suffer from a power failure the system is able to return very quickly to its original state with out any data corruption. This has been described by many of our customers as "Bullet Proof". For those of you with a interest in technology and have not come across Progress Openedge, this relational database solution can be directly compared to Oracle in terms of scalability, functionality and use across the world. We very much view the Microsoft Sequal Server Database solution as a less powerful solution. If required Freight2020 can be deployed with an Oracle or Microsoft Sequal Server database. This is not something we would recomend as apart from increaseing the cost of software it also creates an overhead in terms of support and the required hardware to run it.
